The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department commemorate the heroic martyrs.

On July 19, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department organized a flower and incense offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs in Quang Tri and Nghe An provinces.

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the 94th anniversary of the Party's Propaganda Department's tradition day, on the morning of July 19, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department led by Comrade Vo Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department organized a ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery, and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel.

The delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery (Quang Tri) - where more than 10,263 graves of martyrs are gathered, including 1,297 graves of martyrs who are children of Nghe An province and Road 9 National Martyrs Cemetery - where more than 10,800 graves of martyrs are gathered, including about 220 martyrs from Nghe An.

The delegation also came to offer flowers and incense at Quang Tri Citadel, paying tribute to the heroic martyrs who fell in the 81-day and night battle in 1972 to protect the Citadel and Quang Tri Town in the resistance war against the US to save the country.

At the destinations, the delegation expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the revolutionary cause, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people. The delegation pledged to always uphold the revolutionary tradition, unite, strive to fulfill all tasks, contribute to building a clean and strong Party organization, and make Nghe An province increasingly prosperous, beautiful and civilized.

At Truong Bon National Historical Site, My Son Commune, Do Luong District, the delegation offered flowers and incense to express gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions of the outstanding people who did not spare their blood and bones, fought bravely and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and national reunification. During the resistance war against the US, National Highway 15A, associated with Truong Bon, was a particularly important strategic location, connecting the North-South traffic arteries. Truong Bon became the fire coordinate in the escalating bombings of the US imperialists in the North. Here, 1,240 officers and soldiers bravely fought and heroically sacrificed. Among them were 13 youth volunteers of the "Steel Squad" of Company 317, Team 65, Youth Volunteers against the US to save the country, Nghe An Province.

At the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery in Anh Son District, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission offered incense to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh at the altar of Uncle Ho and the heroic martyrs who fought bravely for the noble international friendship on the battlefields in Laos. The Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery is the resting place of 11,000 martyrs from 47 provinces and cities across the country, including Vietnamese experts and volunteer soldiers who sacrificed their lives on Laotian soil while performing noble international duties. The delegation also came to offer flowers, incense, and commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Nghi Loc District Martyrs' Cemetery./.
