Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department guides election propaganda in the context of Covid-19 pandemic

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested district, city, town Party Committees, affiliated Party Committees, Fatherland Front Committees and socio-political organizations at all levels to organize appropriate propaganda activities based on the development of the Covid-19 epidemic, such as: propaganda and agitation through the grassroots loudspeaker system in communes, wards and towns; posting and sharing news and articles promoting election activities on the website and social networks of the management unit; mobilizing cadres and party members to actively propagate, post and share information about the election on personal websites (Facebook, Zalo, Youtube, Lotus, Mocha, VCNET...).

Stop unnecessary events, conferences, seminars, talks, cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities, especially cultural programs to celebrate the election. In case they must be organized, strictly follow the "5K" regulations of the Ministry of Health; do not organize union members, youth and students to march and propagate the election.

At polling stations, strictly follow the "5K" regulations of the Ministry of Health, especially arranging voters to ensure social distancing during the voting process. Voter contact conferences must comply with the regulations according to Official Dispatch No. 96/UBBC, dated May 4, 2021 of the Provincial Election Committee.

Strengthen inspection, supervision, grasp the ideological situation of cadres, party members and people, promptly handle incidents arising at the grassroots level. Focus on propagating, fighting and refuting false and hostile viewpoints and information, taking advantage of the election process to distort and sabotage the Party and State's guidelines and policies; taking advantage of the election to attract and incite people to gather in large numbers, causing disturbances to security and order, especially in special areas, places with land disputes, site clearance... Strictly handle cases of non-compliance with the regulations of the Government and the Provincial People's Committee on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.

At the same time, prepare proactive response plans when an epidemic occurs in your locality, and at the same time, inform and propagate to the people and proactively participate and coordinate with the authorities in preventing and fighting the epidemic in the area. Timely inform about the handling of cases of violations of epidemic prevention and control in the locality and unit to warn and deter the whole society.
