In recent times, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has proactively advised on the organization of dissemination, preliminary implementation, and effective summarization of directives and resolutions of the Central and the province; directed the implementation of Directive 05 on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle of the Politburo in conjunction with Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XI) and Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII) on Party building and rectification and regulations of the Central Committee and the province on setting examples with many effective ways of doing things.

In particular, the staff effectively implemented Plan 196, dated June 13, 2019 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on organizing the activity with the theme "Nghe An follows Uncle Ho's advice" in 2019 - 2020, thereby building and spreading many advanced models and examples in all areas of social life.

The Propaganda Department also advises on directing and organizing major holidays and important political events of the province and the country to ensure solemnity, educational significance, gratitude, encouragement, and support from all walks of life; promptly propagandizing and orienting public opinion in the face of emerging events, especially propaganda on Covid-19 prevention and control in the province.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has edited and published a number of valuable books such as: "Identifying plots and activities of "peaceful evolution" in the fields of ideology and culture; awareness of prevention and combat of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"; "Nghe An - typical people"; "Nghe An - typical musicians and songs, period 1965 - 2015"; "Chronicle of the history of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee", "History of 90 years of Propaganda of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, 1930 - 2020", "Historical marks of Nghe An Party Committee through congresses (1930 - 2020)".

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department regularly maintains, innovates, and improves the quality of editing and publishing internal bulletins, reporters' conferences, press conferences, and monthly and quarterly publishing, printing, and distribution conferences to promptly provide information and orient public opinion in the area, create social consensus, contribute to ensuring political security, and create an environment and driving force for socio-economic development in the entire province.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the leaders and officials of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department pledged to promote the glorious tradition of the sector over the past 90 years, and continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Party Committee's propaganda work in the coming time.
