Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department presents gifts and wishes for a happy New Year in Nghi Loc district

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 15, comrade Kha Van Tam - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department visited a number of units,Vietnamese Heroic Mother, policy family and poor household in Nghi Loc district.

Also attending were representatives of Nghi Loc district leaders and a number of businesses in the province.

Responding to the call for support for Tet for the poor - Dinh Dau 2017 of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department visited and presented Tet gifts to poor households and policy families of 3 communes: Nghi My, Nghi Phuong and Nghi Lam of Nghi Loc district.

The delegation gave 60 Tet gifts including money, necessities and 2 televisions to the poor and policy families of 3 communes.

Comrade Kha Van Tam presented gifts to poor households and policy families in Nghi Lam commune. Nghi Lam commune has 248 poor and near-poor households (accounting for 9.5%), 405 policy families.

Comrade Kha Van Tam and representatives of Nghi Loc district leaders presented Tet gifts including cash and televisions to the families of martyrs in Nghi Lam commune.

This is an activity to share difficulties, show mutual love and support, and demonstrate the traditional morality of the nation when Tet comes to Spring. Also participating in the gift giving this time are 2 enterprises: Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Company and Golden City Joint Stock Company.

The delegation presented 20 gifts in Nghi Phuong commune (Nghi Loc district). Currently, Nghi Phuong commune has 217 poor and near-poor households (accounting for 10%) and 182 policy families receiving regular subsidies.

Comrade Kha Van Tam presented gifts to the family of Mrs. Phung Thi Huyen (Hamlet 5, Nghi My). Currently, Nghi My has 220 poor and near-poor households (accounting for 17.68%) and nearly 200 policy households.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Kha Van Tam - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department sent New Year greetings and encouragement to policy families and poor households. At the same time, he called on and mobilized all levels, sectors, mass organizations and enterprises to share difficulties with the poor to have a warm and happy New Year.
