A man was hit and killed by a train while crossing the railway.

(Baonghean.vn) - While crossing the railway, the car engine failed and a man was hit and killed by train B. This is the second consecutive railway accident in the day in Nghe An province.

Relatives and friends came to offer condolences to the victim's family.

At around 9:00 a.m. on March 23, on the North-South railway, at the intersection between Hamlet 15, Nghi Kim Commune and Hamlet 18B, Nghi Lien Commune (Vinh City), a man driving a motorbike with license plate 37L8-94** while crossing a civilian level crossing was hit head-on by a train traveling in the North-South direction. The strong impact caused the victim to die on the spot, and the motorbike was completely damaged.

Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police - Nghi Loc District Police and representatives of the railway industry quickly arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident. The victim was identified as Mr. Tran Van Khanh (59 years old, residing in Thai Cat hamlet, Nghi Thai commune, Nghi Loc district).

It is known that this morning, while passing the above mentioned railway section, the car stalled and was hit by a train. Thus, in less than 8 hours, there have been two railway accidents in the province, causing the victims to die on the spot.
