As of the morning of September 27, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation has 6 medals, including 1 Silver Medal and 5 Bronze Medals, ranking 19th on the overall medal tally of ASIAD 19.

Closing the 3rd official competition day at ASIAD 19, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation did not win any more medals as all athletes missed unfortunate opportunities.

Up to now, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation has won 6 medals, including 1 Silver Medal and 5 Bronze Medals.

With this achievement, Vietnam dropped to 19th place in the 19th ASIAD medal tally.

However, the number of medals won by the Vietnamese Sports Delegation will likely change on the competition day of September 27 when entering many strong sports.

Yesterday, martial artist Hua Van Doan defeated his Korean opponent Hong Minjun 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the men's 56kg wushu category. This means that Van Doan will surely win a medal at the 19th ASIAD.

Also in Wushu, 2014 ASIAD champion Duong Thuy Vi will compete in the Women's Sword Art and Women's Spear Art categories.

Duong Thuy Vi is one of the medal hopes of Vietnamese Sports today.
