Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has just commented on the inspection of the procurement of medical equipment, biological products, test kits, vaccines, and drugs to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic.
Specifically, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Government Inspectorate to conduct an inspection of the procurement of medical equipment and biological products.test kit, vaccines, and drugs to prevent and control Covid-19 in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and the Ministry of Health according to the approved 2022 plan.
At the same time, urge the inspectors of ministries and local branches to urgently conduct specialized inspections of the procurement of medical equipment, supplies, biological products, test kits, vaccines, and drugs to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, ensuring that the inspections are carried out on schedule and with quality; report the implementation results to the Prime Minister next March.

Previously, on February 8, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued Directive 01 on urging and effectively implementing tasks after the 2022 Lunar New Year holiday, which also mentioned this content.
The Prime Minister requested the Government Inspectorate to preside over and coordinate with ministries, agencies and localities to strengthen inspections, especially in sectors, fields and localities showing signs of violations, negative public opinion, corruption, and many complaints and denunciations.
In particular, urgently complete inspections of the procurement of medical equipment, biological products, and testing kits for epidemic prevention and control. Strictly implement the program and plan for preventing and combating corruption and negativity, and the conclusions and directions of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
The Prime Minister also directed the Ministry of Public Security to effectively combat corruption crimes, especially speeding up the investigation of cases under the supervision and direction of the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Matters. In particular, crimes related to the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic will be strictly investigated and handled.
