Foreign left-wing journalists are deeply interested in the results of the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and highly appreciate the organization of the Congress.

The delegation of journalists from the left-wing parties of Laos, Cambodia and France all showed special interest in the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and were delighted to visit Vietnam on this occasion.

Mr. Khieu Navy, Director of the Propaganda Department of the Cambodian People's Party - in charge of Brochichuon newspaper, said he was very happy to participate in reporting on the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He highly appreciated the organization of the Congress.

Waiting for a breakthrough

Mr. Khieu Navy shared that he expected the Communist Party of Vietnam to successfully implement the 12th National Congress resolution, soon turning Vietnam into a modern industrial country.

Communications officer Khieu Navy, who studied politics for six months in Ho Chi Minh City in 1986, said he is particularly interested in Vietnam's reforms in all areas, especially in the economic sector. He hopes that the reforms initiated and implemented by the Communist Party of Vietnam will become increasingly deeper and more substantial.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Navy admitted that there had recently been complicated issues related to the border between the two countries caused by the Cambodian opposition party. Mr. Navy emphasized that it was the opposition party's behavior to sabotage the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Mr. Navy wanted to reaffirm the Cambodian government's stance of always wanting to maintain good relations between the two countries and preserve a peaceful environment in the region.

Navy journalist expressed hope that after the 12th Congress, the relationship between the two countries will become even better.

Closely monitor the situation after the Congress

Meanwhile, Mr. Syvanh Homsaydeth, Deputy Head of the World News Department of Pasaxon newspaper (Laos) assessed the organization of the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam as very good, democratic, methodical, and following the correct procedures.

Mr. Sylvanh is waiting for the results of the Congress's selection of senior personnel and will monitor Vietnam's economic development after the 12th Congress.

Having studied undergraduate and master's degrees at the Academy of Journalism and Communication of Vietnam, Mr. Sylvanh is fluent in Vietnamese.

Officer Syvanh shared that he listens to the Lao language program of VOV5 radio channel every day. Besides, he also follows major official electronic newspapers of Vietnam.

Mr. Sylvanh continued to share about his editorial office: At Pasaxon newspaper, staff from Deputy Head of Department and above regularly listen to the foreign radio channel VOV5.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Syvanh said that when handling international news related to Vietnam and the East Sea, he personally always uses Vietnamese media as the most important reference source./.
