(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 28, under the chairmanship of comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to announce the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of 2016.

According to the report presented at the press conference, in the first 6 months of the year, the growth rate of the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) was estimated at 6.61%, higher than in recent years. By June 2016, the province had 114 communes meeting 19/19 criteria, of which 112 communes were recognized by the Provincial People's Committee, an increase of 3 communes compared to the end of 2015.

Total mobilized capital from society is estimated at 22,558 billion VND, equal to 44.79% of the plan, up 14.75% over the same period. As of June 15, 2016, new investment certificates were granted and adjusted for 41 projects with a total registered investment capital of 20,174.58 billion VND; of which, new investment certificates were granted for 37 projects with a registered capital of 19,700.47 billion VND.

Total budget revenue is estimated at VND 4,953.3 billion, reaching 48.2% of the estimate, up 24.3% over the same period; of which domestic revenue is VND 4,544.8 billion, reaching 50.5% of the estimate, up 30.8% over the same period. Budget expenditure is estimated at VND 9,670 billion, reaching 48.5% of the estimate.
