Thai press unanimously reported that Van Hau moved to Muangthong United.

According to some Thai football news sites on Twitter, the management board of Muangthong United Club is negotiating with Hanoi Club to recruit young defender Doan Van Hau and will complete the deal within next week.

Most notably, Siamsport reported that Muangthong United really wants Van Hau to replace the left-back position of star Theerathon Bunmathan - the player who has moved to Yokohama F. Marinos (Japan) on a 1-year loan.

However, many comments say that it is not easy for Hanoi FC to lose this young star to other clubs during the transfer period.

In addition to Van Hau, there is another player on the capital team's payroll who is receiving special attention, Nguyen Quang Hai - who played very well for the Vietnamese team at the 2019 Asian Cup, and also received many transfer offers from big clubs in Korea and Japan.

However, the Thai press is still predicting that Muangthong United will likely recruit Van Hau, after completing all transfer procedures with goalkeeper Dang Van Lam.
