In Huoi Tu commune, Ky Son district, strong winds like tornadoes appeared from 3 p.m. This phenomenon appeared in the commune center, Huoi Dun, Huoi Kha, Pha Xac villages... "The damage has not been assessed yet because the strong winds are continuing. People are busy reinforcing their houses." - Mr. Denh Ba Long - Vice Chairman of Huoi Tu commune People's Committee said.

Meanwhile, in Mon Son commune, the flood center of Con Cuong district. There is currently heavy rain. The rain that started at 13:00 is causing the water level of Giang river passing through this border commune to rise. Residents of Lang Yen village reported that streams in this area are also rising sharply. The rain shows no signs of stopping.

Also according to Nghe An Newspaper reporters, up to this point, some spillways in Mon Son and Luc Da communes have been cut off.

In particular, Khe Moi spillway bridge is located in Hong Son village, Luc Da commune, on the inter-commune road from the town to Yen Khe, Luc Da, Mon Son. Currently, the water level here has risen, traffic here is completely cut off. To ensure the safety of the people, Luc Da commune has mobilized police and military forces to set up a barrier station, creating barriers to prevent people from traveling when the water is high.

According to the Luc Da commune government, this morning (September 15), the commune evacuated 6 households with 24 people in Tan Hop village to take shelter in the village hall during the stormy days. These are households located in areas at risk of landslides.

Mr. Vi Van Nam - Secretary of the Party Committee of Mon Son commune said: The water level of Giang river is currently higher than the water level caused by the recent storm No. 4. "We have set up 4 checkpoints at key points to ensure the safety of people in the commune" - Mr. Nam added. Areas such as Chi Khe, Yen Khe, Mau Duc in Con Cuong district are currently experiencing moderate rain.

In Quang Phong commune (Que Phong district), heavy rain has appeared. The wind is gradually getting stronger. Currently present at the vulnerable point of Ban Ta, Mr. Lang Van Tuan, a cultural officer of Quang Phong commune, reported: "There are 11 households living near the foot of the mountain. On the mountain there is a large rock that is at risk of rolling down. We are directing people to be on guard. If necessary, we will evacuate" - Mr. Tuan said.
