This subject is suspected of enticing Doan Thi Huong to participate in a plan to kill a North Korean citizen, believed to be Kim Jong-nam - the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Doan Thi Huong and Siti Aisyah are accused of smearing VX nerve agent on Kim Jong-nam's face, killing him. Both women have said they were hired to take part in a prank for a reality TV show.
Ri was one of four North Korean suspects who left Malaysia on the day Kim Jong-nam was killed. All four have since returned to Pyongyang.
Malaysian police say up to eight North Koreans are suspected of being involved in the murder of Kim Jong-nam.
