American newspapers react strongly to Mr. Zelensky's shocking decision
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's arguments for canceling the country's 2024 elections are nonsense, Fox News reported.
“Frankly, all the arguments are nonsense. Although many Ukrainians have fled to the EU, there is not a single reason why they cannot vote at Ukrainian embassies or consulates in the countries they have moved to,” the article reads.
The lack of funds to hold elections is also a ridiculous argument, the document says, since Ukraine's allies have allocated huge amounts of money to the country.

“Most likely the government fears that the situation could turn against them,” the publication stressed.
On Monday, Zelensky called Ukraine's presidential election in March 2024 “untimely.”
He has previously argued that voting during martial law is prohibited, but such a possibility remains if parliament supports relevant legislative changes, the West allocates money, and observers agree to be present, including “in the trenches.”
Military campaign in Donbass
Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24. President Putin called its goal "to protect those who have been subjected to repression and genocide by the Kiev regime for the past eight years." He noted that the special military operation was a forced measure, Russia "has no other options, the security risk has been created to such an extent that it is impossible to respond with other measures."
According to him, Russia has been trying for 30 years to come to terms with NATO on security principles in Europe, but in response it has been met with either cruel deception and lies, or pressure and blackmail, while the alliance, despite Moscow's objections, has gradually expanded and approached the borders of the Russian Federation.
