In just two days, Nghe An Newspaper received 10,500,000 VND from readers: Nguyen Thi Hong Vy, address 37, alley 3 Huynh Tan Phat Street, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, donated 7,000,000 VND; the Editorial Secretariat of Nghe An Newspaper donated 2,000,000 VND; Phan Thuy Anh Thu (address not provided): 500,000 VND; Nguyen Ngoc Huyen, residing in Hamlet 13B, Nghi Kim Commune, Vinh City, asked the editorial office to transfer 300,000 VND; Pham Thi Xuan Thuy, address 5 Tran Quoc Toan Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City, donated 500,000 VND; and Le Thi Minh Tam (address not provided) donated 200,000 VND to support the family of the two children.
To provide timely financial support for the children's medical treatment, on the morning of June 6th, representatives from Nghe An Newspaper personally handed over the aforementioned sum of money to the families of the two children in the presence of representatives from the District Fatherland Front and the Party Committee and People's Committee of Thach Son commune.
The children's grandfather, Vo Kim Hieu, was deeply moved and expressed his gratitude for the kindness of readers near and far. He also stated that the Fatherland Front Committee, the People's Committee, and the Women's Union of Anh Son district have provided nearly 20,000,000 VND to support the two children's medical treatment. Currently, many readers are contacting him to inquire about the children's health and register to send money to support them.
