Established in 1961, as an agency of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Nghe An province, Nghe An Newspaper plays the role of the voice of the Party, Government and People of Nghe An province.

Over the past 60 years, under the leadership and direction of the province, the Party Committee, and the Editorial Board through the periods, Nghe An Newspaper has made efforts and united to write a glorious traditional history page of the Party newspaper in the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh.

Nghe An Newspaper has always completed all tasks on the cultural and ideological front with excellence. The agency has changed in many aspects; the lives of cadres, reporters and employees have always been given attention; achievements have been followed by many Certificates of Merit from departments, ministries and branches, worthy of the title of Heroic Labor Unit of the renovation period.

Welcoming the 60th anniversary of Nghe An Newspaper's establishment, respectfully bowing before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh - the great revolutionary journalist and teacher of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism, the Party Committee leaders, Editorial Board, and all cadres, reporters, editors, and employees of Nghe An Newspaper vow to maintain and continue to promote the noble results and achievements that have been achieved.

In the coming time, Nghe An Newspaper will continue to maintain and innovate further to improve the quality of publications, build quality specialized pages and topics, continue to comprehensively innovate Nghe An Electronic Newspaper to suit the development trend of the current information explosion era; pay special attention to building solutions to meet the autonomy roadmap; strive to build Nghe An Newspaper into a model editorial office, a brand in the hearts of readers.
