This is a particularly important national historical and cultural relic, built on Hung Mountain (also known as Nghia Linh Mountain, Ca Mountain) - in Phong Chau land - which was the ancient capital of the former Van Lang State. In Ha Giang province,The delegation also came to offer incense and commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Thanh Thuy T-junction Martyrs Memorial - Vi Xuyen district. This place is known as the death crossroads - the place that suffered continuous artillery attacks from the enemy, preventing our troops from moving to the battlefield during the period of 1984 - 1985 when the war against the invading Chinese army took place at the Ha Giang front.

Next, the delegation visited the temple of heroic martyrs of the Vi Xuyen front. Before 2015, this was the 468 Memorial Incense Station - a place to commemorate heroic martyrs who sacrificed heroically on the high points of the Vi Xuyen front.

The temple was built on an area of over 1,100m2, located in Nam Ngật village, Thanh Thủy commune, Vị Xuyên district. The temple includes a memorial house, a path leading to the stele house "Determined to die for the Fatherland", a ceremony house... and auxiliary works. Every year, the temple organizes a memorial day on July 12 to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic sacrifice of thousands of officers and soldiers in the Border War to protect the Fatherland at the Vi Xuyen front. Of these, more than 2,000 people are still lying in caves and deep crevices, not yet found and gathered.

From the Temple, one can see the high points where fierce battles took place during the Border War with names that have become legendary such as "Minced Meat Hill", "Century Lime Kiln"... This place has also become a historical - cultural address contributing to remembering and paying tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland; at the same time educating the tradition of patriotism and national pride for the young generation today and tomorrow.
