Nghe An Newspaper won 2 Dien Hong Awards for the third time - 2025
On the evening of January 5, at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Cultural Palace, Hanoi, the third National Press Award Ceremony on the National Assembly and People's Councils (Dien Hong Award) - 2025 took place.
Attending the award ceremony were comrades: Nong Duc Manh - former General Secretary of the Party Central Committee; Tran Thanh Man - Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly; Nguyen Sinh Hung - former Politburo member, former Chairman of the National Assembly; Tong Thi Phong - former Politburo member, former Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Vo Thi Anh Xuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President; Tran Hong Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen Khac Dinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Head of the Steering Committee of the Dien Hong Award; Nguyen Duc Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Tran Quang Phuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Uong Chu Luu - former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.
Also attending were members of the Party Central Committee, members of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly Committees, representatives of National Assembly delegations, leaders of departments, ministries, branches, localities and authors who won the Dien Hong Prize.
The National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Councils (Dien Hong Award) is an annual award presented to outstanding press works on the National Assembly and People's Councils organized by the Office of the National Assembly in coordination with the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association, Vietnam Television, and the Hanoi People's Council.
This year’s Dien Hong Award received 4,079 entries from 163 press agencies after more than 11 months of launching. Based on the proposals of the Subcommittees, the Preliminary Council held a meeting to review, agree, and select typical and excellent entries for the final round.
After the preliminary round, 105 works were selected for the final round, including the following categories: 22 printed newspapers; 25 electronic newspapers; 15 magazines; 13 radio works; 22 television works; 8 photos.
The works ensure regional balance, diversity in topics (legislation, supreme supervision, life practices, institutional innovation, etc.) and high quality in content, message and form of expression.
The final judging panel selected 83 best works to propose to the Organizing Committee to award prizes with 8 A prizes, 15 B prizes, 20 C prizes and 40 consolation prizes.
At the Third Dien Hong Awards, Nghe An Newspaper had a 4-part special topic: "Special Resolution: "Overcoming the situation of the narrow "mechanism shirt"" by the group of authors: Ngo Duc Chuyen, Nguyen Thanh Duy, Nguyen Mai Hoa, the print newspaper category won the C prize and a 5-part special topic: "So that elected representatives truly represent the will and aspirations of the people" by the group of authors: Ngo Duc Chuyen, Nguyen Thanh Duy, Nguyen Mai Hoa, Nguyen Huu Quan, Phan Trung Tu, electronic newspaper category won the Encouragement prize.
Previously, at the second Dien Hong Tournament - 2024,Nghe An Newspaper is honored to have 2 worksAwarded: The 4-part special issue "Innovation in the activities of elected agencies for the goal of creating development" by authors Ngo Duc Chuyen, Nguyen Thanh Duy, Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa, was awarded the B prize, print newspaper category; The 5-part report "A decade of abandoning boarding schools in highland high schools: It's time for a change!" by authors Ngo Nhat Lan and Dao Tuan was awarded the Encouragement prize, electronic newspaper category.
