(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 3, the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper organized a visit and gave money to support the family of Mr. Phan Cong Nghia - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Hamlet 1, Nghi Dien Commune, Nghi Loc, Nghe An, who had an accident while helping people roof their houses after the storm.
Representatives of Nghe An Newspaper presented 15 million VND to Mr. Phan Cong Men, Mr. Nghia's father. This is the heart of the officers, reporters, and staff of Nghe An Newspaper to help Mr. Nghia with additional medical expenses.
On this occasion, representatives of Nghi Loc District Youth Union also visited and encouraged Mr. Nghia's family.

According to information from Nghe An Newspaper, on August 2, the Central Youth Union delegation led by comrade Nguyen Thai An - Member of the Central Youth Union Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Youth Union's Children's Work Committee, visited the National Burn Institute (Hanoi) to visit comrade Phan Cong Nghia and presented the Central Youth Union's Certificate of Merit to Mr. Nghia at his hospital bedside.
Nghe An Provincial Youth Union also donated 10 million VND from contributions from Provincial Youth Union officials to help the family cover hospital fees and medicine.
Previously, on July 21, responding to the call of Nghi Dien Commune People's Committee to help people whose roofs were blown off after storm No. 2, Mr. Nghia and 3 other members came to help repair the house of Ms. Vu Thi Xuan's family in hamlet 8, Nghi Dien. Ms. Xuan's house had its roof blown off after storm No. 2, her husband was working far away, leaving only her elderly mother and 4 children at home. Knowing the mechanical profession, Nghia volunteered to climb up to the roof to re-roof, but unfortunately the accident happened.
While receiving the corrugated iron sheet from below to cover the roof, suddenly a high voltage current from the power line running near the house sucked Nghia and the corrugated iron sheet up high, then made Nghia fall from above to the ground, hitting the kitchen roof of Ms. Xuan's house.
After receiving emergency treatment at Nghe An General Hospital, Mr. Nghia was transferred to the National Burn Institute (Hanoi) for treatment. Due to the severity of his injuries, Nghia had both of his arms amputated, his back was necrotic, and his legs were at risk of having to be amputated...
