Nghe An Newspaper presents gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers
(Baonghean.vn)- On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 25th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22, on December 19, leaders of Nghe An Newspaper visited and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers.

The newspaper's working delegation led by Comrade Lam Van Doan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, and representatives of departments and offices in the editorial office visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Tong. Mother Nguyen Thi Tong is from Thanh Linh commune, Thanh Chuong district, and her only son, Nguyen Van Hoe, died in 1973.
Mother has been cared for and supported by Nghe An Newspaper for the rest of her life since 1996. Currently, mother is being cared for at the Provincial Martyrs' Home in Dien Chau District. Currently, mother is lucid and in good health. On holidays, New Year's, and anniversaries, Nghe An Newspaper always visits and encourages her.

On the same day, Nghe An Newspaper also visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Thanh in Vinh Thanh Block, Dong Vinh Ward, Vinh City. Mother Thanh was born in 1931, her husband was martyr Tran Huu Duong, who died in 1968. Her first son was martyr Tran Huu Thanh, who died in 1972. Recently, Mother Thanh was awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother. Nghe An Newspaper is the unit that takes care of Mother Nguyen Thi Thanh.
