(Baonghean.vn) - The peopleTo commemorate the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, on April 22nd, Nghe An Newspaper visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families of fallen soldiers.
The delegation visited Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Thanh in Vinh Thanh Hamlet, Dong Vinh Ward, Vinh City, who was recently awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother in 2014 and is being cared for by Nghe An Newspaper; and visited Mother Pham Thi Ty, the wife of a fallen soldier, in Hung Tay Commune, Hung Nguyen District.

On the same day, Nghe An Newspaper also visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tong, a mother of a fallen soldier, who is currently being cared for at the Home for the Care of Relatives of Fallen Soldiers in Dien Chau district.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tong (from Thanh Linh, Thanh Chuong) has only one son, Martyr Nguyen Van Hoe, who died in 1973. Mrs. Tong has been cared for and supported for life by the Nghe An Newspaper since 1996. She is currently being cared for at the Martyrs' Family Care Home in Dien Chau district.
On behalf of the leadership of Nghe An Newspaper, Ms. Ho Thi Ngan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Nghe An Newspaper - cordially inquired about the well-being of the Mothers, expressing the deep gratitude and appreciation of the entire staff, reporters, and employees of Nghe An Newspaper for the contributions and sacrifices of the Mothers to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland. She wished the Mothers to live happily and healthily, serving as a spiritual support for their children and grandchildren, and continuing to make many contributions to building the homeland and the country.
