Following the successes of the previous season, in 2017, Nghe An Newspaper continued to reap many successes in journalism awards; including 2 works winning the National Journalism Awards, including the B prize for Journalism Awards on Natural Resources - Environment and the Encouragement prize for the Award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the topic "Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh".

Nghe An Newspaper also received a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for its outstanding achievements in forest protection, development and forest fire prevention and fighting in 2017.
