(Baonghean.vn) - The friendly match between U15 SLNA and U17 Hue, considered a rehearsal match for coach Ngo Quang Truong and his team before the final round, could not take place as planned.

At the end of the qualifying round, U15 SLNA won 6 matches, topping Group B with 18 absolute points. They scored 21 goals, and conceded only 1 goal. At the National U15 Finals, U15 SLNA was in Group A with host Tay Ninh, HAGL and FLC Thanh Hoa. In Group B, there were teams PVF, Viettel, Dong Nai and S. Khanh Hoa.

In preparation for the finals, U15 SLNA has moved to Hue and had a period of training here. Unfortunately, heavy rain due to the impact of storm No. 4 has caused the friendly match between U15 SLNA and U17 Hue scheduled to take place this afternoon (July 25) to be cancelled.

Coach Ngo Quang Truong said: “The unfavorable weather has somewhat affected the training process of U15 SLNA. However, we are actively preparing for the final round. Our immediate goal is to play well in each match and reach the semi-finals before thinking about the title. The participating teams all have quality players, so U15 SLNA must try our best.”

Also today, 4 U15 Vietnam players who just returned from the U15 Southeast Asian Championship, namely Nguyen Van Viet, Ngo Quang Thuan, Duong Van Cuong and Phan Ba ​​Quyen, arrived in Hue to join the team. Before that, 2 key players, Nguyen Van Bach and Dinh Xuan Tien, also returned after training with U15 Vietnam.

Tomorrow, U15 SLNA will finish their preparations and travel to Tay Ninh by road. According to the match schedule, coach Ngo Quang Truong and his team will meet FLC Thanh Hoa at 6:15 p.m. on August 2, meet HAGL at 4:00 p.m. on August 4 before meeting Tay Ninh in the final match on August 6.
