The Nghe An Museum receives 107 valuable artifacts.
(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of June 10th, the Nghe An Museum held a ceremony to receive 107 artifacts and antiques donated by the Song Lam Ancient Cultural Heritage Association. This activity aims to promote the socialization of artifact collection, contributing to enriching the museum's collection and documentation.

Over the past period, the Nghe An Museum has received more than 100 valuable artifacts donated by collectors in the Song Lam Ancient Cultural Heritage Association. This time, the Song Lam Ancient Cultural Heritage Association donated 107 artifacts and antiques to the museum. These artifacts all possess significant cultural and historical value, meticulously researched and preserved by antique collectors. They feature vivid motifs and patterns reflecting the traditional culture of each dynasty in Vietnamese history, such as: jars, bowls, and plates from the Ly-Tran period; ceramic pots and vases from the Han dynasty; hats, earthenware pots, and earrings from the Dong Son period; short swords from the Tay Son period; and stone axes from the Neolithic period…

107 artifacts donated by the Song Lam Ancient Cultural Heritage Association will be brought to the Nghe An Museum for research, preservation, conservation, and display to promote the cultural and historical values of the artifacts. On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also awarded certificates of merit to 12 individuals - members of the Song Lam Ancient Cultural Heritage Association - who contributed valuable artifacts, enriching the collection of artifacts at the Nghe An Museum.
The artifact reception ceremony is not only a practical activity to recognize and honor the members of the Song Lam Ancient Cultural Heritage Association for their contributions of valuable artifacts to the museum, but also serves to encourage the general public to participate in contributing artifacts; so that the Nghe An Museum will have more artifacts preserved and their value promoted to serve the public in research and traditional education.
