Mr. Park was not "suspended" from the AFF Cup, Thai newspaper was angry
Public opinion and especially the Thai media are angry when it is highly likely that coach Park Hang-seo will not be punished by the AFC with a ban from directing 4 international friendly matches to make up for the 4 group stage matches of the AFF Cup 2020.
With a disappointing and sarcastic headline, Siam Sport, Thailand's largest sports newspaper, headlined: "Do you laugh or cry at Park Hang-seo's penalty?".
The headline alone shows the unfair thinking of a football power that once claimed to be the "King of ASEAN".

According to the Thai press, coach Park Hang-seo escaped a penalty because the AFF Cup tournament is not under FIFA or AFC. AFC has the full right to impose disciplinary penalties at the national team level, even in tournaments that are not under their management.
With such a bitter attitude, it is very difficult to play fair with Mr. Park and his students.
