Barca and Bilbao soon re-enact the 2015 King's Cup final
Barca will have to overcome Bilbao in this season's quarter-finals, while Gary Neville's Valencia will only have to face weak opponents Las Palmas.
On the evening of January 15, the Spanish King's Cup Organizing Committee conducted the quarter-final draw. The most notable match was between Barca and Bilbao, the two teams that reached the final last season. At that time, Barca won 3-1.
Over the past year, matches between these two teams have always attracted attention. In the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup, Bilbao surprisingly defeated Barca 4-0 (the second leg ended 1-1). In the opening round of the 2015-2016 Liga, the Nou Camp team could only win 1-0.

Coincidentally, the two teams will meet again this weekend in La Liga. The match will take place in round 20, at the Nou Camp stadium.
In the remaining three matches of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals this season, Valencia will not face too big a challenge as they will only have to face Las Palmas. Las Palmas is currently ranked fifth from bottom in La Liga.
Sevilla also have an easy match against Mirandes, the only second-tier team in the quarter-finals. In the other match, Atletico Madrid must compete for a ticket to the semi-finals with Celta Vigo.
The first leg of the quarter-finals will take place next Wednesday, January 20. The second leg will be played a week later.
