Authorities arrest one human trafficker and rescue three victims.

(Baonghean.vn) - Through professional investigation, at 4:20 PM on June 1st, on Nguyen Trai Street, Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City, the Ngoc Lam Border Guard Post, in coordination with the Thanh Chuong District Police and Traffic Police Team 46, arrested one human trafficker and rescued three victims.

The arrested suspect is Luong Thi Yen, a Thai ethnic woman born in 1972, residing in Van village, Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong district, Nghe An province. Yen was transporting three victims to China on a vehicle with license plate 14B - 00836, traveling from Vinh to Mong Cai.

The three victims who were rescued in time were Lo Thi Hang, born in 1997, from Kim Lam village, Thanh Son commune; Vi Thi Hien, born in 1999; and Vi Thi Mao, both residing in Noong village, Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Through questioning, Luong Thi Yen confessed that her younger sister was married and living in Cao Chau, Guangdong, China, so Yen deceived the three victims into going to China to meet her sister.

Currently, the Nghe An Border Guard Command is completing the case file to hand over to the relevant authorities for handling.
