American arrested for carrying heroin at Tan Son Nhat airport.

Authorities have discovered and apprehended an American passenger departing through Tan Son Nhat International Airport who was illegally transporting three blocks of heroin weighing a total of 1.1 kg.

Specifically, the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department, in coordination with the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Aviation Security Center and other relevant agencies, detected suspicious activity from passenger D. Jason (born 1973, American nationality), who was departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney (Australia) via Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

Through professional investigative techniques, law enforcement officers inspected and discovered that the suspect had cleverly concealed 1.1 kg of heroin in his luggage while going through exit procedures.

Currently, the suspect, along with all relevant documents and evidence of the violation, has been handed over by the City Customs Department to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC47) - Ho Chi Minh City Police for further investigation.
