12 vehicles caught using electric shock to illegally exploit seafood

(Baonghean) -From October 22 to 28, Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) organized patrols at sea and discovered and arrested 12 vehicles violating regulations in the field of fisheries exploitation.

The above vehicles operated without a license as prescribed, using electric shock to illegally catch aquatic products... Of which, 4 vehicles had owners residing in Hai Ninh commune (Tinh Gia, Thanh Hoa) and 8 vehicles had owners residing in Hai Ha commune (Tinh Gia, Thanh Hoa).

The station confiscated all the evidence of the violation; at the same time, decided to fine 12 vehicle owners a total of 51,800,000 VND, to be paid to the state budget.
