Arrested 13 gambling subjects, seized more than 24 million VND
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 19, Anh Son District Police announced that they had successfully broken up Project 218B, arrested 13 subjects gambling, and seized more than 24 million VND.
Previously, on February 18 (the 3rd day of Tet), the Criminal - Economic - Drug Police Team of Anh Son District Police raided the house of Nguyen Viet Hung (born in 1974, residing in hamlet 3, Hung Son commune, Anh Son) and arrested 13 people who were gambling.

The arrested subjects include Khuong Vu Tuan (born in 1990, residing in Block 4, Con Cuong town); the remaining 12 subjects all reside in Hung Son commune, including: Pham Van Truong (born in 1972), Nguyen Viet Dung (born in 1978), Hoang Van Thanh (born in 1981), Nguyen Viet Hung (born in 1974), Nguyen Viet Son (born in 1990), Nguyen Viet Xuan (born in 1990), Pham Van Hoang (born in 1985), Bui Cong Duong (born in 1991), Pham Van Phuong (born in 1965), Tran Van Vinh (born in 1966), Tran Van Manh (born in 1989) and Truong Van Chi (born in 1990).
Seized evidence included 9 mobile phones and more than 24.3 million VND.

During the Lunar New Year, from the first to the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, Anh Son District Police caught 4 gambling cases, 30 subjects, seized more than 53 million VND and 21 mobile phones.
Currently, Anh Son District Police are continuing to investigate and expand the case.
