Arrested 2 subjects buying and selling human body parts
Giving money to Tu to find a kidney for transplant, but waiting forever without getting a kidney transplant as agreed, patient H. filed a complaint with the authorities.
The Investigation Police Agency of Hue City Police (TT-Hue Province) said that it has just issued an arrest warrant for two young men who committed the crime.human body partsoccur in the area.
The identities of the two subjects are Nguyen Thanh Tu (born in 1990, registered in Vung Tau City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province; residing at 51 Tran Nguyen Han, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City) and Nguyen Van Nghia (born in 1990, residing in An Qui Hamlet, An Thoi, Mo Cay Nam District, Ben Tre Province).

According to the investigation, in October 2021, Nguyen Thanh Tu met Mr. Phan H. (born in 1988, residing in Hue City), a person with kidney failure being treated at Hue Central Hospital, and raised the issue of buying a kidney for transplant, to which Mr. H agreed.
Then, Tu contacted Nguyen Van Nghia to find someone who wanted to sell a kidney.
Some time later, Nghia found Nguyen Dinh T. (born in 1990, residing in Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province) who wanted to sell his kidney.
Nghia and T. agreed to buy and sell a kidney for 360 million VND. Nghia informed Tu that the agreement to buy and sell a kidney with Mr. H. was 800 million VND. Mr. H. agreed and paid Tu 300 million VND in advance.
Tu gave all this money to Nghia and Nghia paid Tu 50 million VND in brokerage fees. Along with that, Nguyen Dinh T. also received an advance of 70 million VND from Nghia.
However, after a while, Mr. H. did not receive a kidney transplant as agreed and did not get back the full amount of money, so he went to the police to report it.
Currently, the case is under further investigation.
