Arrested 2 suspects in the murder of female student of Banking Academy
Through investigation, the police have arrested two suspects related to the case of a female student from the Banking Academy who has mysteriously disappeared for many days. Both of them are drug addicts.
Hanoi City Police arrested Nguyen Xuan Trung (born in 1985, residing in Van Phu commune, Thuong Tin district) and Nguyen Van Quan (born in 1983, residing in Quat Dong commune, Thuong Tin district) for their involvement in the case.murderFemale student Tran Thuy Hien (born 2002, residing in Nguyen Trai commune, Thuong Tin) - student of Banking Academy.
Previously, Hanoi City Police arrested Nguyen Xuan Trung. At the police station, Trung confessed that at around 6 p.m. on October 23, Trung invited Quan to steal two sets of construction formwork in Tien Phong commune, Thuong Tin district.

Trung said to Quan: "Brother, there's a girl standing there not knowing what to do. Let's go out there, push her into the ditch and take the bike." Hearing Trung, Quan replied: "If you feel you can do it, then do it. If not, then don't."

Then, Quan stopped to watch the motorbike, Trung walked to where the female student Hien was standing, pushed her phone away, and fell into the Nhue River. Seeing Hien screaming “leave me alone”, Trung jumped in and pushed Hien into the water.
After about 10 minutes, when Hien did not move, Trung pushed Hien into the river. Then, Trung took Hien’s phone and electric bike and sold them. The phone was sold for 500,000 VND, the electric bike was sold for 2.8 million VND.

At 9pm that same day, Trung called Quan to pick him up and then they both went to Ha Hoi cemetery to use drugs. There, Trung gave Quan 700,000 VND.
By noon on October 27, authorities had found the body of female student Tran Thuy Hien about 5km from the scene of the crime. The victim’s body was opposite the entrance to the village where the victim lived.
