Caught 3 illegal fishing vessels
(Baonghean.vn) - 3 vessels illegally fishing at sea were arrested by Nghe An border guards.
Accordingly, at 11:00 a.m. on March 14, while patrolling an area 1 nautical mile southeast of Ngu Island, the patrol force of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) discovered and arrested 3 vehicles using dredgers and electric motors to illegally catch seafood.

The seized vehicles include the boat with license plate NA 4706TS owned by Mr. Tran Van Tinh (born in 1979), from Dien Thanh commune (Dien Chau), who was exploiting aquatic products using a trawl in the wrong direction.
Vehicle with license plate HT 2015 TS, owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Nham (born in 1962), hometown Xuan Hoi commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh, and boat without license plate owned by Mr. Nguyen Doan Doan (born in 1974), hometown Tan Nho block, Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town, were exploiting seafood using electric power.
Currently, the Border Guard Station of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy port has completed the documents for handling according to the provisions of law.
