Arrested 3 9X youths who invited each other to sell firecrackers, seized nearly 22kg of explosive firecrackers

(Baonghean.vn)- Three young men born in the 90s bought nearly 22kg of firecrackers from a person in Dien Chau district and hid them under the Nghi Khanh bridge in Nghi Loc district. When the three men took the goods to sell, they were arrested by the authorities.

On the morning of January 2, 2017, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency announced that the unit had just successfully broken up Project 1216P, arrested 3 subjects, and seized 21.8 kg of various types of fireworks.

Previously, Nghi Loc District Police received information that there were subjects organizing the purchase and transport of fireworks into the district during the Dinh Dau Lunar New Year. The unit established a special project coded 1216P headed by the Chief of Nghi Loc District Police.

The subjects and evidence of the case.

The task force received information that at the foot of Dong Dinh mountain in Khanh Thinh hamlet, Nghi Khanh commune, there would be subjects delivering and receiving fireworks. The unit's leaders decided to break up the task force and sent forces to closely monitor the area.

At around 7:00 p.m. on December 28, at the foot of Dong Dinh mountain, Khanh Thinh hamlet, Nghi Khanh commune, the reconnaissance force discovered a young man riding an Exiter motorbike with license plate 37F1 - 003.41. After circling around the area a few times and seeing nothing suspicious, the subject used his phone to call someone. More than half an hour later, two young men riding an Exiter motorbike with license plate 37B2 - 074.00 carrying a backpack and a black plastic bag came to meet the waiting subject.

While the three subjects were handing over the items, the task force quickly approached and conducted an administrative inspection. Through inspection, the authorities discovered that the backpack contained 36 mortars and a plastic bag containing grenade-shaped fireworks, all of which were foreign-made, with a total weight of 21.8 kg.

The three subjects involved in the firecracker trading and transportation case are: Vo Tien Hung (born 1990), Nguyen Van Dung (born 1994) and Tran Van Thuy (born 1994), all residing in block 8, Nghi Thuy ward, Cua Lo town.

Through the struggle, the subjects confessed their actions. Currently, the case is being further investigated by the authorities./.
