Arrested 5 gamblers, seized 19.5 million VND

(Baonghean.vn) - Yen Thanh District Police said that the unit has just arrested 5 gamblers and seized 19.5 million VND.

The arrested subjects include: Ta Mai Hung (born 1988); Thai Duy Trong (born 1988); Vo Trong Hung (born 1998); Nguyen Xuan Tuan (born 1993) and Nguyen Xuan Minh (born 1988), all residing in Tho Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

The subjects were caught red-handed while gambling at Loi Nho coffee shop in hamlet 4, Tho Thanh commune.

The police confiscated a deck of playing cards; 6.4 million VND on the mat; and 13 million VND on the suspects' person.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen Thanh District Police is detaining 5 subjects for investigation and handling according to the provisions of law./.
