​Arrested 6 suspects in horrific murder case at game store

Regarding the horrific massacre in a fish shooting game shop in Dao Thanh commune, My Tho city, Tien Giang province, which left one person dead on January 24.

On January 29, the Criminal Police Department (PC45) of Tien Giang Province Police announced that it had arrested 6 suspects in the murder case at a fish shooting game shop in Dao Thanh Commune, My Tho City, which left one person dead.

According to PC45, 6 out of 10 suspects were temporarily detained including: Ngo Hoang Khang (nickname Map, 23 years old), Phan Van Hiep (nickname Long, 19 years old), Le Minh Duc (nickname Pig Beak, 18 years old), Le Van Du (nickname Ma Du, 17 years old), Duong Ngoc Phat (16 years old, residing in Ward 2, My Tho City), Thai Hoang Minh Hieu (nickname Hiep Lep, 16 years old), all residing in Ward 2, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province.

Also according to PC45, the six suspects were arrested and prosecuted to investigate the murder.

The victim was identified as Nguyen Lu Tien Phuong (nickname Phuong mada, 35 years old, residing in Ward 4, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province).

According to initial investigation results from the police, at around 6:30 p.m. on January 23, Mr. Phuong was playing a fish shooting game at a game shop in Dao Thanh commune, My Tho city.

At this time, a group of about 10 young men carrying many weapons such as homemade knives, machetes... suddenly rushed in and stabbed Phuong repeatedly, causing serious injuries.

After committing the crime, the group of young men escaped in a car. Phuong was taken to Tien Giang General Hospital by locals and admitted with a fractured skull and a nearly severed arm. At around 8 p.m. the same day, Phuong died at the hospital.

Autopsy results showed that the victim died of multiple injuries, acute hemorrhagic shock, cerebral hemorrhage, and brain contusion.

On the morning of January 24, PC45 invited three suspects in a group of 10 young men to work.

Initially at the police station, the subjects confessed that after preparing weapons, they discussed finding a group from Ward 7 (My Tho City) to resolve a personal conflict that had been going on for many months. The group drove 6 motorbikes carrying 6 homemade knives and 4 bottles of soft drinks to a fish shooting game shop in Dao Thanh Commune, My Tho City to resolve the conflict.

When they arrived, the subjects rushed in, slashed people in the game shop, smashed fish shooting game machines, and used homemade knives to stab and kill Mr. Phuong./.
