Previously, at around 1:30 p.m. on August 26, about 30 officers of the Vinh City Police Criminal Police Team suddenly broke into the two-story house owned by Bach Quoc Dung (41 years old, on Ha Huy Tap Street, Vinh City). Here, detectives caught 9 people red-handed gambling by shaking the dice. They seized nearly 50 million VND at the gambling table and more than 110 million VND from the suspects, a set of dice shaking tools and dozens of mobile phones and motorbikes of various types.

The subjects participating in gambling include: Bach Quoc Dung (born in 1974), residing at 307 Ha Huy Tap Street, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City; Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1975), Hamlet 2, Hung Thinh, Hung Nguyen; Pham Manh Chien (born in 1986), Hamlet 11, Nghi Trung, Nghi Loc; Trinh Minh Thang (born in 1979), residing in Block 7, Quang Trung Ward; Pham Quang Hung (born in 1982), Hamlet 22, Nghi Phu Commune; Phan Thi Hong (born in 1967), Block 17, Hung Binh; Le Trung Kien (born in 1984), Block Trung Hoa 1, Le Mao Ward; Pham Ngoc Hoai (born in 1985), residing in Block 6, Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City.

At the investigation agency, these people initially confessed to their crimes. According to their confessions, Dung was the owner and collector of the gambling house, while Nguyen Van Hung (40 years old, living in Hung Thinh commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An) was the banker.
