Three young men arrested for stealing the house of the District Vice Chairman

Taking advantage of the darkness, three young men broke into the house of the vice chairman of the district People's Committee and entered through the ventilation door, stealing many valuables. Currently, all three young men have been arrested.

On October 30, Phu Giao District Police, Binh Duong Province, announced that they had initiated a criminal case and temporarily detained three young men to investigate the act of "property theft" including: Tran Huu Tien (24 years old); Nguyen Lua and Tran Ngoc Luc (both 22 years old), all residing in Binh Phuoc.

According to the initial investigation, at around 11pm on October 13, the three young men climbed over the wall into the house of Mr. Nguyen Van Long, residing in Ward 3, Phuoc Vinh Town, Phu Giao District to steal property. Mr. Long is currently the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Giao District.

When arriving at Mr. Long's house, Luc stood outside on guard. Meanwhile, Lua and Tien broke into the house through the ventilation door. At this time, Mr. Long's whole family was sleeping soundly, so the group of thieves ransacked the house, taking many valuables such as: 4 phones, 3 taels of 18k gold, 11 million VND in cash and some other properties.

After receiving the report, Phu Giao District Police examined the scene and narrowed down the suspects, arresting the three young men mentioned above.

Speaking to reporters on October 30, Mr. Nguyen Van Long said "the incident was nothing" and no one in his family was injured or had any health problems during the theft.

Phu Giao District Police said the case had enough elements to constitute a crime, so they initiated a case and prosecuted the defendant to continue the investigation.
