(Baonghean.vn) -On April 1, 2013, the Criminal Investigation Team of the Vinh City Police Department cracked a robbery case codenamed "313C," arresting a group of five suspects: Thach Quang Viet (born 1993, residing in Hamlet 9, Nghi Trung Commune, Nghi Loc District), Thach Quang Thanh (born 1996, residing in Hamlet 9, Nghi Truong Commune, Nghi Loc District), Nguyen Dinh Luat (born 1995, residing in Hamlet 9, Nghi Truong Commune, Nghi Loc District), Tran Le Thang (born 1995, residing in Long Thi Hamlet, Nghi Khanh Commune, Nghi Loc District), and Ho Cong Vuong (born 1995, residing in Hamlet 9, Nghi Truong Commune, Nghi Loc District).
Authorities seized one mobile phone (evidence in the case), one Exciter motorbike, one knife, and five bricks used in the crimes. During initial questioning, the suspects confessed to committing 10 robberies targeting couples (primarily students) in Nghi Lien, Nghi Kim, and Hung Dong communes; they also committed five other snatching incidents in Vinh City. The investigation is ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects.
