Authorities arrested individuals transporting 8 blocks of heroin.

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of April 12th, representatives from the Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy, along with PC47 - Nghe An Provincial Police, conducted an examination and collected samples of a white powder substance for heroin testing related to the three individuals arrested by the authorities.

Earlier, at noon on April 11th, authorities received information from the public about Lo Thi Thu transporting a large quantity of "goods" from Que Phong district to Vinh.

At 5:30 PM on April 11th, the Traffic Police Task Force 1-48 of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department, in coordination with the PC47 Department (Nghe An Provincial Police), tracked, intercepted, and caught red-handed Le Thi Hang (born in 1982) and Phung Ba Dung (born in 1991), both residing in Hamlet 4, Nghi Phong Commune, Nghi Loc District, Nghe An Province, while they were transporting the aforementioned goods.

According to the suspects, after arriving in Vinh, Thu took a taxi to continue her journey to Tran Thi Hoai's house (in Hamlet 4, Nghi Phong). There, Thu handed over 8 blocks of heroin to Le Thi Hang as previously agreed.

Upon inspecting the instant noodle box, a package suspected to contain heroin was discovered. The suspects were immediately taken to PC47 of the Nghe An Provincial Police for further investigation.

On the morning of April 12th, representatives from VSKND, PC47, and Traffic Police Unit 1-48 conducted an examination and confirmed that the aforementioned goods were indeed heroin.

The incident is currently under extensive investigation.
