Arrest of subjects transporting 8 heroin cakes

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of April 12, representatives of the People's Procuracy of Nghe An province and PC47 - Nghe An Police conducted an examination and took samples of white powder to test for heroin related to 3 subjects arrested by the authorities.

Previously, at noon on April 11, we received information from the public about Lo Thi Thu transporting a large quantity of "goods" from Que Phong district to Vinh.

At 5:30 p.m. on April 11, when Traffic Police Task Force 1-48 of the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province coordinated with Department PC47 (Nghe An Police) to monitor, intercept and arrest Le Thi Hang (born in 1982) and Phung Ba Dung (born in 1991), both residing in Hamlet 4, Nghi Phong Commune, Nghi Loc District, Nghe An Province) while transporting the above goods.

The subjects stated that after arriving in Vinh, Thu took a taxi to continue her journey to Tran Thi Hoai's house (in hamlet 4, Nghi Phong). There, Thu handed over 8 heroin cakes to Le Thi Hang as previously agreed.

Upon inspection of the instant noodle box, a package suspected to be heroin was discovered. The subjects were immediately taken to PC47 Nghe An Police Department for clarification.

On the morning of April 12, representatives of the People's Procuracy, PC47, and Traffic Police 1-48 conducted an appraisal and found that the above goods were heroin.

The case is currently under further investigation.
