Inadequate pollution treatment at concentrated slaughterhouses in Nghi Phu commune

Petitioning to the Provincial People's Council, voters of Nghi Phu commune reflected: Investment projects in the ward still have many problems, causing disadvantages to people's lives such as clogging the flow of canals; projects are behind schedule. Factories in small industrial zones cause environmental pollution. Request to completely resolve the administrative demarcation in Vinaconec apartment complex; speed up the construction progress of 72m road. Nghi Phu residents also requested to build a funeral home and crematorium in Nghe An.
In a petition to the City and Commune People's Council, voters said that some sections of Nghe An - Xieng Khouang road have no lighting; build drainage ditches, lighting systems and house numbers, build drainage ditches on some roads. Strengthen supervision of food hygiene and safety; rectify the situation of illegal garbage trucks built along some roads in the ward.

Voter Tran Van Lan in hamlet 4 proposed drainage, electricity for daily life in group 11, hamlet 15, Nghi Phu commune and construction of a cultural house in hamlet 15. The land of hamlet 15 is often flooded because the road is lower than the drainage system. The electricity system must be shared with households in Ha Huy Tap ward. In addition, voters of hamlet 15 also proposed construction of a cultural house as approved.

The voters of Hamlet 5 requested the City People's Committee to issue a written response to the environmental pollution treatment at the slaughterhouses in Hamlet 5; and to respond to the time of moving the slaughterhouses out of residential areas. Currently, the drainage ditch for the slaughterhouses is flowing into Hamlet 5, causing serious environmental pollution. In Hamlet 6, the construction of the resettlement area has clogged the drainage ditch of the hamlet and has not been resolved.
Regarding the problem of clogged drainage ditches, voters in hamlets 4, 6, 15, 17, 20, 21... also requested authorities at all levels to quickly take remedial measures before the rainy and stormy season.

Voters of Hamlet 20 raised issues related to investment projects, safety and accident prevention, and fire and explosion prevention in high-rise apartment buildings in Nghi Phu commune in particular and the province in general.
At the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vinh City People's Council explained the voters' recommendations within his authority and promised to accept and submit recommendations that were not within his authority to higher levels./.
