Despite fines, subjects still brazenly encroach on sidewalks in Cao Thang night street.

On the evening of October 12, reporters were present at Cao Thang night street to record the urban and sidewalk beautification at "hot spots" of illegal parking and street vending.

According to observations, the situation of sidewalk encroachment on both sides of the entrance gate of Cao Thang Street continues to occur without any authorities checking or handling it, although Vinh City had previously requested the forces to seriously handle this issue.

The most encroached areas include Tran Phu Street, Phan Dinh Phung Street, Ta Cong Luyen Street... Encroaching subjects openly invite and write tickets for customers to park their vehicles.

Faced with this situation, the reporter contacted the leaders of Hong Son ward - the unit directly inspecting and handling sidewalk encroachment on Cao Thang night street about this issue. However, after 1 hour (from 8pm to 9pm), absolutely no force came out to remind or eliminate this situation.

It can be seen that the lack of decisive intervention of Hong Son ward is one of the reasons why the subjects continue to blatantly violate.

Besides occupying the sidewalk for parking, street vendors and pushcarts still occur on both sides of Cao Thang Street.

Previously, on October 9-10, the People's Committee of Hong Son Ward issued a decision to fine two subjects who illegally occupied the sidewalk for parking, including: Le Thi Mui in Hung Tan Commune, Hung Nguyen District and Vu Thi Bich Thuy in Block 9, Doi Cung Ward, Vinh City. The administrative fine is 2.5 million VND and re-offending is strictly prohibited.

In addition, the ward also fined 6 subjects who occupied the sidewalk and roadside of Cao Thang for business and trading, including: Nguyen Thi Thu, block 1, Hong Son ward; Pham The Duc, block Hung Chau, Vinh Tan ward; Mai Van Huu, block 23, Hong Son ward; Phan Thi Kim Chi, block 1, Hong Son ward; Le Thi Thuy Hien, block 23, Hong Son ward; Tran Thi Huong, Vinh Tan ward.

The administrative fine for each subject is 750,000 VND and it is strictly forbidden to reoccupy sidewalks and roadsides.
