Kidnapping biological child in Ha Tinh after car crash

Information from Huong Khe District Police (Ha Tinh) said that the unit is temporarily detaining two suspects of child kidnapping.

Accordingly, at around 5:15 p.m. on May 5, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (born in 1966, residing in Vinh Hung hamlet, Huong Vinh commune, Huong Khe) drove a motorbike to Huong Vinh Primary School to pick up her nephew Nguyen Huu Tuan (born in 2009, a student in class 2C).

However, when the aunt and niece returned to Vinh Hung hamlet, a man driving a motorbike with license plate 37D1-595.52 hit them, causing them to fall onto the road.

The car caused the accident, then kidnapped Tuan and ran away.

After causing the accident, the two subjects forced Nguyen Huu Tuan onto a motorbike and fled. Seeing this, Ms. Huong shouted, calling for people to chase after him, and reported the incident to the local authorities.

Upon receiving the report, Huong Khe District Police coordinated with Can Loc District Police to block the road and arrest the suspects. After nearly 1 hour of pursuit, the police captured the two suspects.

It is known that one of the two subjects above is Nguyen The Dat (residing in Nghe An), who is Tuan's biological father.

According to some locals, Tuan is the son of Mr. Dat and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thi. In 2012, the couple divorced, and Tuan was sent to Ms. Huong's family to raise and care for so Ms. Thi could go to the South to do business.

The case of causing a traffic accident and kidnapping a child in Ha Tinh is being investigated by the authorities.
