Drug addict forced to carry machete while transporting drugs
(Baonghean.vn) - Taking advantage of the rain and wind, a drug addict in Keng Du commune (Ky Son) was transporting drugs when he was discovered and arrested by the authorities.
At 9:15 a.m. on July 3, Luong Pho On (born in 1970), residing in Huoi Le village, Keng Du commune (Ky Son), was discovered and arrested by Keng Du Border Guard Station and the Anti-drug and Crime Prevention Department of Nghe An Provincial Border Guard, Ky Son District Police, Keng Du Commune Police and Na Loi Border Guard Station while illegally transporting drugs in the village.

Searching the subject, the authorities seized 2 blue packages containing 236 synthetic drug pills, 1 mobile phone, and 1 machete.
Initially, the subject confessed that he was a drug addict who went to buy drugs for use. When he arrived at the above area, he was arrested by the authorities.
Currently, Keng Du Border Guard Station (Nghe An Provincial Border Guard) has initiated a criminal case, completed the file and handed it over to the authorities for further investigation.
