(Baonghean.vn) - At 2 PM on January 4th, the Economic and Drug Crime Investigation Team of Dien Chau Police cracked case 0117M, arresting suspects involved in the illegal trafficking of 29.8g of narcotics.

Accordingly, while Lu Van Tuat (born in 1982), residing in Khe Thoi village, Lang Khe commune, Con Cuong district, was engaging in the illegal buying and selling of narcotics in Block 5, Dien Chau town, he was unexpectedly apprehended by the district police force. The seized evidence included one package of heroin weighing 29.8g and one mobile phone.

The suspect confessed to buying the drugs from another individual in Con Cuong district and bringing them to Dien Chau to sell for profit.
It is known that Lu Van Tuat is a long-time drug addict and has contracted HIV. Currently, Dien Chau Police are continuing to expand the investigation into the case and will prosecute the suspect according to the law.
