Tuoi Tre newspaper is one of the organizations that has many activities focused on supporting the DK1 offshore platform.
This was the first trip to deliver Tet gifts for the officers and soldiers serving on the DK1 offshore platforms and Con Dao Island. With the heartfelt sentiments of the mainland, the delegation brought gifts such as candies, meat, vegetables, vermicelli, and spices for making banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), hoping that the officers and soldiers would have the basic means to celebrate Tet in a warm, cozy, and joyful manner.
Although the gifts may not be of great material value, they demonstrate the care and concern of the Party and the State, and the affection of the people for the officers and soldiers who are guarding the seas and skies of the Fatherland day and night, firmly protecting the sacred and inviolable sovereignty over the southern continental shelf.
