The suspect responsible for numerous thefts of people's property has been arrested.

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 14th, the Hung Nguyen District Police announced that they are finalizing the indictment against Nguyen Huy Trong (born in 1993), residing in Hamlet 7, Hung Tan Commune, for the crime of theft.

Previously, the district police received numerous reports from residents about an individual breaking into their homes, prying open doors with a hammer, and stealing money and other valuables. The district police leadership directed the criminal investigation team to focus on verifying and clarifying the case. After more than two months of searching, on September 7th, the district police arrested Nguyen Huy Trong in the area of ​​Cua Tien Bridge in Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City.

At the police station, the suspect confessed that from the beginning of June until now, he had committed four burglaries, stealing property from people's homes and using the money for drinking, partying, and methamphetamine use. The total amount of money Trọng stole from these burglaries reached nearly 40 million VND. The case is currently under further investigation.
