Arrest of murder and robbery suspect

(Baonghean.vn) - At 4:30 p.m. on July 5, people discovered Ms. Nguyen Thi Huy (born in 1956, residing in hamlet 2B, Ngoc Son commune, Thanh Chuong district) dead in bed at her home.

After receiving the report, Thanh Chuong District Police urgently coordinated with the provincial police departments to conduct an investigation and identified the perpetrator as Nguyen Van Thi (born in 1979, residing in Hamlet 5, Ngoc Son Commune, Thanh Chuong District).

Through the process of persuasion, at around 8:00 p.m. the same day, Nguyen Van Thi turned himself in to Thanh Chuong District Police and confessed: On the night of July 3, 2013, Thi entered Ms. Huy's house and used a stick to hit her in the head, causing her death, and then stole a pair of gold earrings. Currently, Thanh Chuong District Police have detained Thi for investigation and handling.
