Arrested a subject transporting 80kg of fireworks for sale at midnight
(Baonghean.vn) - The Economic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has just successfully broken up a case of illegal firecracker trading, arrested 01 subject, and seized 80kg of firecrackers.
At the end of September 2018, through the work of grasping the situation, the Economic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police discovered a ring of buying and transporting fireworks from Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces to Nghe An province for consumption. Project 1018P was established to combat this.

After a period of monitoring, at 1:00 a.m. on November 1, 2018, at Truong Tho slope, Quynh Lam commune, Quynh Luu district, the task force caught the subject red-handed transporting 80kg of 36-round firecrackers in a car.
At the investigation agency, the subject confessed to being Nguyen Huu Chien (born in 1995), residing in Tan Thang hamlet, An Hoa commune, Quynh Luu district.
The case is currently under further investigation.
