Arresting a suspect for possession of heroin.

(Baonghean.vn) - Following an investigation, at 9:00 AM on June 15th, the Criminal, Economic, and Drug Crime Investigation Team of Nghi Loc District Police discovered and apprehended Nguyen Huu Tien, born in 1967, residing in Hamlet 10A, Nghi Kieu Commune, Nghi Loc District, for the act of possessing narcotics.

At the suspect's residence, police investigators seized three small packets containing heroin, the weight of which was yet to be determined, a mobile phone, and 760,000 VND. According to Tien's confession, he had been a drug addict for a long time.

On June 10th, Tien bought a package of heroin from an individual in Yen Thanh district for 1 million VND with the intention of both using it himself and reselling it in smaller quantities to other addicts for profit.

The case is currently under investigation by the authorities. Reportedly, this is the third drug case seized by the Nghi Loc District Police in the first half of this Anti-Drug Action Month.
