Suspect arrested for possessing drugs and grenades.
(Baonghean.vn) -At 7 PM on April 29th, after receiving a tip from the public that Chang Van Pin (born in 1974, residing in Ang village, Xa Luong commune, Tuong Duong district) was in possession of heroin at his home, the Nam Can Border Guard Post (Nghe An Border Guard Command) quickly deployed a force of 8 officers and soldiers, led by Lieutenant Colonel Pham Huu Ha - Commander of the Nam Can Post. They swiftly marched to Pin's residence, secretly approaching and surrounding the area to arrest the suspect.
Despite being unexpectedly surrounded, Pin resisted fiercely, aggressively declaring, "I'll use a hand grenade to blow you all up."
After a brief consultation, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Huu Ha decided to launch a swift attack to neutralize the grenade in the suspect's hand, preventing him from escaping under the cover of darkness.
Taking advantage of the cover of darkness, one reconnaissance team used professional tactics to distract and draw Pin's attention, while another team quickly and secretly approached, subdued and apprehended the suspect, disarming him of the hand grenade before he could pull the pin.
During a search of Pin's residence, the task force seized a small packet of heroin, weighing approximately 8 grams, and a hand grenade that he always carried with him, intending to use it to attack law enforcement officers if surrounded, in an attempt to escape.

The suspect, Pin, along with the seized evidence.
Currently, the Nam Can Border Guard has initiated a criminal case and handed over the suspect and evidence to the relevant authorities for further investigation and processing.
